International Seminar - "Digital youth - What's ahead of us", 13-17 October, Brussels

"Digital youth - What's ahead of us?" is the fourth and the last seminar of 2017 "E-democracy: connecting European youth and politics though digital tools" working plan that sets out to contribute education for digital democracy. The seminar will draw a conclusion and evaluate the projects of the participants implemented in the framework of the "local actions" dimension of the 2017 work plan. During the workshops, the participants will get the opportunity to share their experience and create a good-pratices manual. 

The seminar will take place during the Digital Democracy Day organised by European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), which will be part of the program. 

 

Practical Information

Deadline for applications: Sunday, 20th August 2017 23:59 CET
Participation fee: €100 (€50 for locals and anyone who does not need accommodation)
This fee covers the accommodation and the meals throughout the seminar. 
Travel reimbursement: 70% of the travel costs (up to max. 150€)

*JEF Europe will assist in visa procedures if needed.
**Do not book your ticket and/or pay the participation fee before you receive an e-mail confirmation regarding your selection
***Cancellation policy: Participants who have been confirmed and have paid their participation fee, but cancel their participation after 22nd of September 2017 will receive 50% of their participation fee. Cancellations after 1st October 2017 are not refundable at all.
****The implementation of the seminar depends on the grant allocation by European Youth Foundation.


Who is eligible to apply: Young people aged 18-30 years who are citizens of one of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. Applications from non-eligible persons will not be taken into account.
