European volunteering is far from being accessible to all young people in Europe. Three European youth networks, JEF, ESN and AEGEE are sharing this diagnosis and coming together, supported by YES Forum, to work on the challenge of diversity and inclusion in European volunteering. The project aims at identifying the barriers hindering the full participation of certain young people as volunteers and at collectively reflecting on how to take them down.
This will be the second out of 3 trainings implemented under the framework of the DIVE project. It will take place in Athens, Greece from July 10th to July 15th.
Participants will reflect upon the existing barriers in our networks as regards to image, outreach and accessibility. The goal is to exchange good practices among our networks and find ways to incorporate the principles of inclusion and diversity in all internal procedures of our organizations, starting with recruitment, HR management and activities' organizations.
This call will give priority to participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Sweden as partners of the Erasmus+ project supporting this training.
