About the seminar
Active citizenship is crucial for a democratic Europe and education can equip young people with the competences and knowledge to get engaged at the European level. For this reason, JEF Europe and its partners want to strongly develop ‘Europe at School’ initiatives by supporting all sections of the network in engaging in the programme.

This training is the third of a series of three Europe at School trainings designed to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes of members of youth organisations to carry out innovative European-oriented civic education interventions in schools.  While the first and second trainings were focusing on primary and secondary schools, this training will be focusing more specifically on? Vocational Education and Training (VET).  In the framework of the Erasmus+ project ‘Europe at School - Youth to You’, JEF Europe partnered with five other organisations: JEF Germany, JEF France, JEF Malta, JEF Macedonia and the Young Educators (Portugal).

How will we work?
The methodological approach of the seminar will ensure that the principles of non-formal education are fully respected. This means that the participants will be offered possibilities to be fully engage in planning and achieving their learning through various experiential processes, small group work, expert input and open debates.  Related to the inputs provided by external speakers, JEF Europe and its partners will ensure that the speakers who will come to address the participants with their expert input will be very experienced and able to engage youth in active and meaningful dialogue.
