About the project

The bus tour is one of the key components of the campaign “I Choose Europe” led by the Young European Federalists (JEF Europe), which is aimed at encouraging debate about Europe among young people and raising awareness on the European Elections taking place in May 2019. A large-scale youth event in Paris gathering approximately 2,000 young people will officially launch the campaign. Prior to the elections, “youth multipliers” will be trained and provided with newly-developed tools to engage young people in debates about Europe during local activities in 13 countries and encourage them to vote. The ideas collected as part of the campaign will be featured on social media and on an online interactive platform.

As a follow-up to the pre-election activities of the “I Choose Europe” campaign, the second phase of the project aims at developing the capacity of youth organizations and activists to engage with local, regional and European decision-makers and advocate for young people’s priorities for the future of Europe collected as part of the New Narrative for Europe.

The project is implemented by JEF Europe together with 11 national sections and the following partners: Animafac, Assembly of European Regions, Balkans Beyond Borders, Center for Intercultural Dialogue, DYPALL Network, Europe4Youth, European Educational Exchanges - Youth for Understanding and the Union of European Federalists
