WAFER: Volunteer ACT!

"Youth projects for active citizenship” will between 14-21 February 2015 gather 20 participants from at least 5 countries in Amarante, Portugal, for training of multipliers on youth international and volunteer projects.

The aim of the project is to contribute to sustainability and innovation in international youth and volunteer work, by raising skills and capacities of young people to initiate, design and organize specific creative and innovative grass-root projects and activities focused on Active European Citizenship.

Travel costs are covered up to 50% for each participant, with a maximum reimbursement of 260 euro per participants (520 maximum ticket).

More action please!

Training Course “More Action Please!" will take place in Sicily - Italy, from 23rd to 30 March and will gather 22 participants from 11 countries and 11 organizations.
The main objective is to give to young people an active role in coordination of projects and instruments to create powerful mobility for youth with really active participation of all involve young people
Participants will be young people, active volunteers, which have already some experiences in participate in international youth projects and are interested to became a leader. The TC More Action Please!, is open also to participants with fewer opportunities.

All costs concerning meals, accommodation, VISAS and insurance as well as the program and materials will be fully covered for the whole duration of the training.

UNITED invites your organisation to nominate for the UNITED Conference near Malaga “Overcome all borders; UNITED against Intolerance”. This conference takes place from 4 to 9 May 2015 and will focus on the intolerance migrants face in Europe with an emphasis on the scapegoating reaction to migration at Southern European borders. The aim of this conference is to create ideas, vision, and strategies to counter this intolerance and the lack of a strong and humane political vision.

The organizer will reimburse 75-90% of the travel costs (depending on the country of origin)

Get the money and DON'T run away

A training course "Get the money and DON'T run away" between 8-14 June 2015 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. This course will primarily focus on main EU programmes and initiatives that can be used to support social youth work in Europe. Focused on providing practival working tools to Youth workers, NGOs managers, Youth policy makers.
